Linear MultiCode 302210 Safety Edge Transmitter
The transmitter mounts directly on the gate or barrier arm and wires to a standard exterior safety edge sensor (a Miller gate edge sensor is recommended). If an obstacle is encountered, the sensor will present a closed circuit across the connecting wires and the 302210 will transmit a message to the receiver signaling entrapment to the gate operator. The operator then stops or reverses the movement of the gate.
The 302210 transmitter is supplied in a weather-resistant, fiberglass box. Its circuit board is coated to prevent moisture damage. The enclosure mounts to the gate, door, or barrier arm through sealed interior mounting screws.
The Model 302210 is compatible with 300 MHz Multi-Code receivers and Model 109950 and 302850 receivers.
Radio Remotes
Radio remotes come in standard size or key fob style. Both types offer single or multiple buttons that can open more than one gate or door. When ordering your wireless transmitter and receiver you have an opportunity to use one device to operate your gate and garage door. You may want to order a receiver and transmitter made by the same manufacturer as your garage door opener to consolidate the number of remotes you own.
Coded radio remotes are remotes that contain a unique code (similar to a card reader code). This type of remote offers a higher level of security. Individual transmitters can be added or deleted from the system. If a transmitter is lost, it can quickly be deleted to help maintain security.
