Option Description:
BondSTAT (Standard on M82 Series)
The next generation of electromagnetic lock monitoring technology from Securitron. Unlike typical door position switches that indicate whether or not a door is closed, BondSTAT also notifies your access control or alarm system that the door is accurately secured.
BondSTAT's magnetic field monitors the entire surface of the armature, not just the center or corner. Any variation in the armature's position beyond established installation parameters will initiate a signal indicating the Magnalock is not generating full holding potential.
BondSTAT delivers superior Magnalock monitoring capability for unparalleled security and peace of mind.
Integrated DPS
The Magnalock Door Position Sensor (DPS) internally monitors the position of the door that it's mounted on. This allows a seamless interface between genuine Magnalocks and any access or alarm system for function like anti-tailgate and pass back as well as door forced and door prop alarms - without the need for a separate door position switch.
This is accomplished using an internal SPDT switch that operates independently of the lock's power along with permanent magnetic actuators located in both ends of the armature. Integrating the magnets also means that no additional armature housing or mounting plate is required to mount the DPS. This makes for one of the quickest and easiest to install DPS maglocks on the market.
The 125mA switch is protected up to 30VDC by a self-resetting fuse that safeguards the lock from damage and helps prevent system downtime, even if improperly installed.
Face Mount
Mounting holes on the face of the lock for mounting on inswing doors & gates.
Conduit Fitting
Universal threaded conduit fitting is 1/2" female - 3/4" male.
Offset Strike
Alters the position of the mounting hole by 1/4" [6mm]. This is often required to clear the glass on aluminum frame store front doors
Split Strike
Allow a single M82B Magnalock to secure a double door at traffic control holding force level

Magnetic Locks
Magnetic locks can be used on gates to enhance the security and protect the gate operator. Most operators will be severely damaged if forced open. A typical magnetic lock adds 1,200lbs. of holding force. Magnetic locks are used in building access systems as well. They use very little energy while operating and there are uninterpretable power supplies (UPS ) specifically designed for them. Using a UPS allows them to remain effective in the event of a power failure.
